Terms and Conditions for Export Transactions

Ramayana Import & Export

These Terms and Conditions govern all international export transactions carried out by Ramayana Import & Export for global buyers. These policies apply to all agricultural and food products exported by the company including rice, pulses, spices and vegetables.

3. Quality Compliance & Certifications

All products exported by Ramayana Import & Export are cultivated, processed, packed, and shipped under strict quality control systems.

The company operates under internationally recognized certifications:

GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Global GAP (Good Agricultural Practices)

These certifications ensure hygiene, food safety, traceability, international compliance, and high product quality suitable for global import regulations.

4. Payment Terms

60% to 80% Advance Payment is mandatory before procurement, processing, packaging, and allocation of stock.

Balance Payment must be cleared before container stuffing, shipment, and release of documents.

No shipment, Bill of Lading, or export documents will be released without full payment.

5. Pricing Terms

All prices are quoted based on mutually agreed Incoterms:

FOB (Free on Board)

CNF (Cost & Freight)

CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight)

Prices depend on quantity, packaging, grade, and destination port.

6. Order Confirmation

All export orders must be confirmed in writing.

A signed Purchase Order (PO) or Letter of Intent (LOI) is mandatory to start processing.

Any changes in quantity, quality, packaging, or specifications must be approved in writing by both parties.

7. Quality Control & Inspection

All shipments are inspected, graded, and packed as per international export standards and buyer’s specifications.

Buyers may appoint third-party inspection agencies such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Cotecna at their own cost.

Any additional certificates, laboratory tests, or special documents must be requested in advance and will be charged separately.

8. Buyer Responsibilities

The buyer is responsible for:

Import clearance

Customs duties and taxes

Compliance with destination country regulations

Ramayana Import & Export will provide all standard export documentation required for shipment.

9. Export Compliance

All shipments are made in full compliance with:

Indian export laws

Food safety regulations

International trade standards
